In technical aspects, PC Technician should know the basic information and troubleshooting on OS name and its version, OS manufacturer name, System Name and its manufacturer, System model, system type, processors, BIOS versions/date, SMBIOS version, OS directory, System Directory, Booting device, Locale (country/state), hardware abstraction layers, user name, time zone (setting), Physical memory, virtual memory, page files and space etc.
Exclusive Responsibilities:
- Work with end users for Installing, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Work with user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, software, printer, and networking hardware products.
- Work on-site for analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems
- Customer services through telephone calls, pagers, e-mails etc.
- Network Administrator Support if required.
